# Crashes

Information about crashes and errors on Android can be sent in an obfuscated form and on iOS in an unsymbolicated form. It's difficult to extract data from these logs for analysis. To analyze logs, you need to upload mapping, SO, or dSYM files to AppMetrica.
In this section, you can upload files manually: To do this:

1. Choose a platform: iOS or Android.
2. Click **Choose file** and upload the file.

After processing, information about the uploaded file will appear under **Uploaded files**.

If there were crashes in the app, and no mapping, SO, or dSYM files were uploaded for them, the **Missing files** section will display the build version, app version, and the number of such crashes.
