# Tracking Facebook^*^ campaigns for Android devices

AppMetrica tracks Facebook[*](*stop) ad campaigns on Android using  [Google Play Install Referrer](https://appmetrica.yandex.by/docs/en/mobile-tracking/technology.md).

For tracking to work, specify **Install Referrer Decryption Key** (Facebook's unique decryption key for attribution data) in the tracker settings for the Facebook[*](*stop) media source. You can create just one tracker for all ad campaigns of one app. It tracks all installations via Install Referrer.

The section below describes the steps for setting up a tracker to track Facebook[*](*stop) ad campaigns:

## Step 1. Get the Install Referrer Decryption Key {#get-key}

1. Log in to your [Facebook for Developers](https://developers.facebook.com/) account that has access to the tracked app.
2. Go to the [My apps](https://developers.facebook.com/apps/) section and select the app that you want to set up tracking for.
3. For the selected app, go to **Settings** → **Basic**.
4. At the bottom of the page, in the section with the Android app, copy the **Install Referrer Decryption Key**.

## Step 2. General settings {#general}

1. In the AppMetrica interface, go to **Tracking** → **Add tracker**.
1. Enter the name of the tracker.
1. Select Facebook as the media source.
1. Specify **Main** as the tracker type.
1. Select Android as the platform.
1. Set the **Install Referrer** toggle and specify the `decryption key` obtained in [Step 1](#get-key).

## Step 3. (*Optional*) Configure anti-fraud  {#anti-fraud}

Enable **FraudScore** to check installs and events for fraud via [FraudScore](https://appmetrica.yandex.by/docs/en/common/fraud-score.md).

**FraudScore** is a paid option ([Pricing plans](https://appmetrica.yandex.by/docs/en/common/pricing/uae-currency.md)) only available for legal entities registered in Russia.

## Step 4. Save your changes {#save}

Click **Save** at the bottom of the page.
